This is UTEP's first annual summer tournament. During these weeks, UTEP staff and players will instruct and provide feedback as games take place as well as coach team.
Once a week your team will play two total 9v9 matches instructed by a UTEP soccer staff member and/or player. Each game will be 2 20-minute half with a short half time for a game slot of 50 total minutes. We will keep brackets, have playoffs, and have a winner at the end of the time frame. We will incorporate unique rules, such as the TST over time rules, which will be provided in a rules page to all teams who sign up.
Each roster is allowed a maximum of 15 players.
Dates for the tournament are as follows:
June 1, June 8, June 22, June 29, and July 6 - Bracket Play Games
July 19 and July 20 - Playoffs and Championship
On each of these playing dates, there will be 4 total games (2 at a time) and one team from each bracket will be off. Each team will get 4 bracket games and one playoff game for a total of a guarantee of 5 games minimum. The top seed of the bracket will get two bye's (19th is off) in the playoffs and will not play until the 20th.
