  • Mini Miner Half Day (830am - 11am): Our Mini Miner Half Day Camps are designed to instruct boys and girls ages 4-6 in agility, coordination, and individual skills. We want our Mini Miners to enjoy the ball, better understand the game, all while doing activities that resemble parts of the game.  Our Mini Miner Day Camp staff is very qualified at creating a fun experience with our youngest campers. Our Goal is to help develop each player’s passion for the game of soccer while creating a comfortable experience for them to enjoy each day.  Understand that our day camps are for every skill level and camp is designed with that consideration in mind. 
 
  • Mini Miner Full Day Camp (830am - 1pm): We are happy to announce that our mini miner full day camp will take place in the air conditioned UTEP Recreation Center adjacent to University Field.  Participant will enjoy lunch and a movie inside and end the day playing soccer on the rec sport court indoors.  Tennis shoes will be required for the afternoon, and we look forward to offering our participants a cool soccer alternative as part of our camp curriculum.  Full day camp spots are limited and we anticipate full day to sell out given our new format.  
 
  • Orange and Gold Miner Half Day Camp (830am - 1130am): is designed to instruct players in individual skills, small group tactics and fundamentals of team play. With a consideration for motor learning and development for all sports our Half Day Camps, all begin with speed and agility activity.  Campers will be divided into groups of equal age and ability to ensure an appropriate level of learning at the right pace. Our Day Camp staff is very experienced at creating a fun and challenging experience with young players. Our goal is to help develop each player’s passion and enjoyment for the game of soccer. 
 
  • Orange and Gold Miner Full Day Camp (830am - 2pm): We are happy to announce that our full day camp for our orange and gold miners will take place in the air conditioned UTEP Recreation Center adjacent to University Field.  Our older full day campers will eat lunch, and play soccer at the rec during the hottest part of the day to ensure a fun camp.  Full day camp will conclude with outside on University Field the last 30 minutes of camp.  Tennis shoes will be required for our full day campers, and we look forward to spending a majority of the afternoon indoors.  Full day camp spots are limited and we anticipate full day camp to sell out given our new format. 
 
*The camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender)

FAQs

What do you need to bring to camp?

Day Camp
  • Soccer ball (can purchase at check-in)
  • Cleats, running shoes, hair ties, socks over shin guards, water bottles
  • Money for concessions and the camp store
  • Snacks for in-between activities
  • Full Day Campers need to bring their own lunch
  • Sunscreen

What is the refund policy?

A 10% fee will be collected for any cancellations outside of 1-week. 
A 15% fee will be collected for any cancellations the week of camp. 

Where are camps held?

Registration, check in and sometimes pick up is at the Helen of Troy (HOT) softball complex. Our soccer activities will be held on University Field in the morning and in the rec center in the afternoon.
